Java Developer

GreenBadgers has an immediate opening for a Java software developer for one of our clients. This position requires java programming experience, and experience with software development tools and frameworks (such as git, maven, jira, Spring), and backend and/or GUI development. This position is a great opportunity to work with a team embedded in customer spaces modernizing all of the Cybersecurity software and systems.

Description:  

Key Responsibilities Conduct or participate in the research, design and development of systems software, software applications and/or tools for new programs and subprograms. Responsibilities also include enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing software. In addition, responsible for coding, testing, integrating and documenting software solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field and at least two years of Java Development experience.

Java development experience is required.

Experience with JQuery and XML.

noSQL experience desired

Experience with github, maven, eclipse, and/or jira is required.

Experience in backend and GUI development

Knowledge of Agile development.

Experience with Python, PERL or Ruby is a plus.

Clearance:

Minimum of a Secret Clearance required, opportunity to upgrade to TS/SCI
